Hi. My name is Maurice Leolin Fox IV. "Mo" for short. My father and I are interested finding some information on where our first name came from. My great grandfather, Maurice Leolin Fookes who changed the family name from Fookes to Fox in the early 1900s (reason unknown) is the first in the line. Are there any relatives/researchers out there who might have any information on Joseph M Fookes's siblings. Or, his pregenetors? I know his parents came from Maryland and moved to Ohio toward the beginning of the 1800s. But, my guess would be that one of his siblings were named "Maurice." Help?
