here's a good one for you. Patience Folger was my ninth great-grandmother, Norwich County, Norfolk, England; I am a direct descendant of her and Benjamin Franklin; the Folgers, Coffins, etc. who left England and settled partly in Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, MA.

I have written my family history (1985) entitled, "Kin to the County" an indepth study and research of the Harker and Lewis families from that time to present. Harker's Island, just off Morehead City and Cape Lookout, NC was named for my great-great grandfather, Ebenezer Harker. This booklet is available from me as well as for viewing by the Carteret County Historical Association, Morehead City,NC c/o Thelma Simpson.

Currently, looking for as much information on the Folger and Coffin families of Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard to complete this study. I am working on a website that will have the entire historical facts recorded; should be ready in 2001.
