I am your second cousin, once-removed. I am the eldest son (second child) of Ann Concannon's second eldest son. I remember my father always telling us about your great-grandmother as we would drive past The Twelve Pins on our way to Ballintaggart (Baile an tSagairt) on the east side of Spiddal.
Ann(a)/Aine married Séamus Ó Concheanainn (then spelt Ó Coinceanainn) - also Séamus Tom Shadhb - in the late 1910s or 1920 after returning after 8 years in the US. She had 4 children: Tomás (emeritus Professor of Classical Irish at UCD) and only passed away in 2015 at the age of 94, Seosamh (Joe) - my father, primary school teacher, who passed away in 1997, Máirtín, who stayed on the farm that my grandparents farmed, and one daughter, Máire. All are now deceased.
You should know that family "private" knowledge is that we are related to Theobald Wolfe Tone on the Folan side......but that is not for discussion here.
Please let me know how best to contact you directly. My cousin, Máirtín's eldest daughter, still lives on the family farm and doubles up as the family geneaologist, and I would be delighted to put her in touch with you
