Christened 13th November 1807 Both in Whitstable, Kent
Married William Henry Pettman 1830 In Whitstable, Son of John Pettman and Alice Manktelow. He was born 26th March 1796 and died 19th December 1865 in Whitstable, Kent. Pigots Directory for 1840 shows William as an Anchor Smith.

Mary Camburn's Father was James Camburn
James Camburn born 1745 in Whitstable, Kent Christened on 30th June in Blean, Married Elizabeth Kemp on 27th April 1775 In Whitstable, Kent. Died 1797 In Whitstable Kent and was buried 5th February 1797 in Whitstable, Kent. His wife Elizabeth Kemp was born in 1747, Christened on 30th December 1747 in Whitstable. Died 9th November 1816 in Whitstable, Kent and buried on the 12th November.
Elizabeth Kemps Father was Michael Kemp born 1724, Christened on 30th March 1724 in Whitstable, Kent, Married Mary Chandler mother of Elizabeth on 22nd May 1747 in Harbledown, Outside Canterbury. He died in 1788, burial 17th July 1788 all in Whitstable, Kent. Mary Chandler was Born 1718 in Harbledown. Died 14th May 1782, burial 26th May 1782 in Whitstable. Together they had seven Children.

Michael Kemp's father was Ozias Kemp born 1680 in Whitstable, Christened 23rd August in Whitstable burial 1st November 1726 Married Elizabeth Unknown 27th November 1712 in Seasalter, Kent. She was born in 1680 in Seasalter, died 1754 in Whitstable, Kent
Elizabeth unknown was married before to Stephen Milsted in St Margaret's in Canterbury on 24th November 1701. Elizabeth married Ozias a month after Stephen Milsted died. On Ozias Kemp's Family i can go back to 1552.

James Camburn Father was Robert Camburn and Ann Baker was his Mother. Robert was born 1692 in Whitstable, Kent, Baptised 31st July 1692 in Harbledown though born in Whitstable, Kent married Ann Baker 29th November 1727 in Seasalter, Kent died 1780 burial 13th Feb 1780 in Seasalter, Kent.
Ann Baker was born 1700 in Blean Kent to Richard and her namesake Ann Baker, Ann who married Robert died in 1750, burial 16th November. Her Parents came from Herne hill, Kent. Ann Baker had a sister Mary born in Blean in 1659 and Christened 13th September in Herne Hill.

Frances FOAD- Father Edward Foad 1773

Son of Edward/Edmund Foad born c.1745 and Mary Fairbrass they married 18th January 1766 at Holy Cross in Hoath. Edward Foad was Church Warden of Seasalter in 1804 -1805 and may have been before that, meaning he would have had a hand in building Island Wall in Whitstable, Kent. Source: R H Goodsall, Whitstable, Seasalter and Swalecliffe, A History of Three Kent Parishes. (Cross and Jackman 1938). (Lost my copy years ago,). That is as far as i have on my Foad side.

For Frances Fairbrass's side i will cut and paste what i was sent from John Farbrace, i should give him credit as he has been searching for the link between Foad-Fairbrass's for a long time.

I will now give you Frances Sibling's. (Father Edward Foad mother Mary Camburn.) But before i start Edward 1773 had a brother Thomas Foad who is the top of my line, my 5th X Great Grand Father. He was born 1768 and Married Susannah Anderson. That line is quite big so i will forward that another time.

In 1851 she is LIving at Sea wall as a Mariner's wife. Her Husnabnd Thomas was born 1800 in whitstable. Together they had two sons John and 1838 Thomas 1830.

Edward Foad Born February 1804 C.19th Feb 1804 in seasalter, Died 20th feb 1804 Buried 18th May 1804 in Seasalter, Kent.

Elizabeth Foad Born 19th April 1805 In Whitstable Christened in Seasalter on 12th May 1805

Eleanor Foad Born 29th July 1809 C.17th September 1809 Married 20th November 1828 to John Putaine.

Edward Foad born 21sy May 1811 in Whitstable, Kent C.16th June 1811 in seasalter, Kent Died 23rd May 1897 in Whitsable, Kent Married Mary Pattenden 26th December 1831. Together they had 11 Children.
Edward was a mariner who lived and died at Middle Wall. When he died in 1897 Frederick Foad his son was present at his death. ( Will type the children out later)
1871 Living at MIddle Wall, Have a Lodger John Prior, a 19 year old Mariner from Romney Marsh. The Foad's arry into a Prior family somewhere along the line. I have three generation of the Pattenden family.

John Foad born 1813 C. 28th February 1813 in Seasalter. Died 1892 Buried At St Alphege Seasalter, Kent with his wife.
Selina Baker whom he married on 6th March 1834 in Seasalter, Kent, in the Presence of Selina's father and Frances Foad John's sister. Selina was born 1813 in Whitstable to John Baker and Died 1865 in Seasalter.
1881 John is a Shoemaker living at 2 Gorrell Road.
1851 Living at High street, with Selina, Cephas 1835 their son a carpenters apprentice, and AnnAmelia 1834, Frederick 1846 and Jane 1849 George was born 1852. The other not living there was Andrew Baker Foad born 1836 who may have been a watch and jewellery repairer.
1840 Pigots directory-Shop in High Street, Whitstable
Cephas married Martha and had 8 Children. Another list!! George married Jessie Baker and had three children. I do have dates for these.

Amelia Foad born 1815 C.12th November 1815 Died 1880 in St Saviours Married Edwin Pugh 27th January 1839 in Seasalter, Kent

William Foad 1818 C.8th March 1818 In Whitstable, Kent Died 1904 in Elham. This line leads towards Folkestone, Kent Married Mary Ann Spain on 13th April 1843 in Seasalter, Kent. Together they had 9 Children.

1881 Census William is a Blacksmith living at 41 Fenchurch Street Folkestone, Kent.

Hello, I'm looking for any info on William Edward Foad, he married Mary Ann Marsh in 1910, in Bridge, Kent. I believe he was born in 1876 and died in 1915, they had one child named Harold H Foad.
Would be much appreciated if you could help

I Have Harold H Foad 1914-1940 as son of Mary Ann Marsh and William John Foad 1876-1915.

In 1915 at the time of her husbands death in 1915, during WW1, Mary was living at White Cottages, Marshside Chislet Kent
