My branch of the Flach family is in Texas, USA.
I know there are very many Flachs in Brazil, I often
talk to several of them on ICQ. There was a Flach
family reunion in Puerto Alegre earlier this year. I
don't know if we are related, but I would be happy
to hear from you by E-Mail or ICQ (2591895).

My grandfather came from wisconsin from what we understand and went to Teutopolis Illinois but we have no further history on him. His name was lambert and from what we understand his family in Teutopolis operated a livery stable in teutopolis. This would have been in the early 1800. He was instrumental in helping establish Teutopolis Illinois and that town celebrated their 125 years in 1985. Any info would be appreciated. there are approximately 50 families in this area with the flach name.

Dear Lambert Flach,
I wish I could help you but unfortunately I can not. You state that there are over 50 Flach families in your area and I assume you have contacted them all. I am unaware of any Flach families in the U.S. to which I am related; however, Germany is another story. My grandfather Frederich Flach came from Speyer, Germany in 1912. According to his death certificate his father's name (my great-grandfather) was William Flach. I do not know if he had any siblings and I can not find any other connections. With respect to looking at ancesters, there are many and I have all of that data available.
If you could assist me it would be greatly appreciated.
Best of luck on your quest!
Sincerely, Rudolph Flack
