From the Youngstown [OH] Evening Vindicator, 3/1/1892:

Shoals, Ind., March 1 -- William Fitch, convicted of robbing the railway office here, was visited at the jail by Miss Kearns, his sweetheart. A marriage license was secured, and a priest married the couple, who stood at the door of Fitch's cell.
