I'm searching for info about my Fisher ancestors.

1. William FISHER, b. appr. 1791 VA (census) Elizabeth MARR, b. 8/23/1793 Fauquier Co. VA ("Haydens Virginia Genealogies"). She was the d/o Daniel MARR (1757-1826) and Susannah DUFF JENNINGS (1763-1828) who was the widow of Berryman JENNINGS. There is a William Fisher on the tax list in Fauquier Co. 1800 with one white male dependent. Could this be William's father? I can't connect William to the Germanna Fisher/Fischer family, nor the Quaker Fisher family from the Hopewell MM, Frederick Co.

William Susannah were m. 1815 Warrenton, Fauquier Co. VA. According to Fauquier Co. VA Deed Book 30 pg. 238, they were living in Leon Co. FL in 1828. They are listed on the 1845 Census in Leon Co. FL and Leon County Voters in First Florida Election, 1845
They are listed on the 1860 Census with a plantation in Wakulla Co. FL Between Sopchopy St. Marks Rivers, June 21, 1860.
Their children:
2. Hugh F., b. 1819 VA, m. Florida S. ALSTON, 12/7/1843 Leon Co. FL
3. William, Jr., b. 1825 Miporia?, m. Harrietta ?
4. Charles Howard, b. c 1827 m. Mary Elizabeth ENDEMANN (ENDEMEAN), 7/1/1858 Leon Co. FL, d. 1874 Pensacola FL
5. Sara Laura, b. c 1830, m. Richard A. SHINE, she was alive in 1917
6. Mary, b. 1831 FL, m. Dr. J. T. Duvall, Wakulla Co. FL, he was b. 1822 VA.

2. Hugh F. FISHER, b. 1819 VA, m. Florida S. ALSTON, 12/7/1843 Leon Co. FL. In 1845 Hugh was an election inspector for the 5th Precinct, Miccasukie-Beard's Store. R. W. Alston voted in this same precinct. She appears on the 1850 census for Leon Co. FL, age 26, in the household of Robert W. Alston:
Florida Alston is not listed on the 1860 Census where Hugh is listed as a farmer in Wakulla Co. FL Between Sopchopy St. Marks Rivers, next to his brother William Jr., June 21, 1860. Hugh was a Private in Gamble's Light Infantry, CSA.
Issue:
7. Florince A., b. c 1842 FL (1860 census says b. FL)
8. Elizabeth M. , b. c 1846 FL, lived in Tallahassee in 1870
9. Henrietta, b. c 1847 FL, lived in Tallahassee in 1870
10. Philo Cleto, b. c 1849 FL (listed as female on the census)
********

3. William FISHER, Jr., b. 1825 Miporia (Civil War Vets of Wakulla Co.), m. Harrietta (or Henrietta, depending on the census taker) ?. She was b. c. 1838 FL (1860 census) He was a Sargent in Gamble's Light Infantry, CSA, enlisted 3/3/186?, Tallahassee and was discharged, 1/5/1863, by order of the Secretary of War. He and Harrietta are listed on the 1860 Census as farmers in Wakulla Co. FL Between Sopchopy St. Marks Rivers, June 21, 1860 along with one child:
11. Augustus, b. 1859 FL.
********

4. Charles Howard FISHER, d. 1874 Pensacola FL. He m. Mary Elizabeth ENDEMANN (ENDEMEAN), 7/1/1858 Leon Co. FL. She was the daughter of Zahara MOULTABY of Fayetteville NC. According to family history, they died together with their young son, Lee, in a smallpox epidemic and are buried in the Pensacola Naval Yards. He was a navy man according to a letter from Mary Elizabeth Fisher, their granddaughter. The only other person I have found with the surname Endemann is John Endeman who signed a petition in Leon Co. in 1830 along with John P. and Samuel Henry Duval.
12. Carrie, m. Dr. Clarence C. BULLARD;
13. Charles Howard, Jr.
14. Robert Endemann, b. 1863 Tallehassee, d. 1930 Buchannan Co. MO
15. Lee, b. 1870 FL, d. 1874 Pensacola.
********

As far as I can tell this Fisher family is not connected to the Fisher's of Germanna Colony I who moved into Fauquier Co. VA c 1716.
