Thank you for the wonderful family history. I just recently discovered the maiden name of my great-grandmother, CLARISSA FISH. The extent of what I know of her is that she married Elias Underwood about 1839 in (presumably) Calhoun Co., Michigan. Elias and Clarissa UNDERWOOD had a daughter, Mary A., who was born 10/26/1840 Calhoun Co., Michigan. Mary married John M. MENSCH in 1865. In the 1900 census, Mary states her father b. Vermont and mother b. NEW YORK. Does my Clarissa fit anywhere in your genealogy? Appreciate hearing from you.
