Sarah Ann Firby, looking for connections.

I'm sort of stuck. I'm trying to follow a family tree back but I'm stumped as where to go next.

All I know is that Edward Bullen married Sarah Ann Firby November 24, 1897 at Aysgarth. I know nothing before this, nor do I know Edward's birth. I'm missing whether this Sarah Bullen was my great grandmother or my great-great grandmother as i don't know who had my Gramps, Sidney Bullen who was born in 1923. Sidney was raised by Gertrude Plant and her husband,she was a Firby as well but I'm not sure of the exact connections.

My gr gr gr grandmother was born 1775 where I do not know, and died 1834 Marion Co. Il. She married Joshua Piles and I have quite a lot on the Piles family, but cannot find anything on Phirba. the name has been carried down several generations through the Piles family. Thanks Joan Kunkel

Some how I have been sendig all the emails to another Brenda Birch same email address and I think I might be upsetting her. ??? I'm very interested in this connection as it is the right name, date and place I will try to contact you again

I'm the Brenda Birch that wrote to you before, some how we got lost in space. I have a Ann Weighill on my Family tree. Ann Weighill bap 26 Jan 1766 St Mary Over Silton Yks, daughter of James Weighill and his wife Jane Wilson

I am looking for information concerning my great grandmother who's name was Elizabeth FIRBY born 1848, married Thomas TONNER in 1872 in Newcastle on Tyne and had six children, they lived in Glasgow on 1881 census, I cannot mange to get a marriage certificat as it wasn't registered. Can someone help me.
