Looking for any connections to the Finnegans of Lima, New York. I have census records from 1880, 1900 on the Owen Finnegan family (daughter Elizabeth married Burke), their only son was Patrick, and the Francis Finnegan family.They are buried in Lima, NY. The tombstone of Francis reads that he is from parish Donaghmoyne, county Monaghan. The wife of Francis was Rose, the wife of Owen was Margaret. Since Lima was and still is, a very small town, I believe that these Finnegans were related. Many Finnegans and Burkes are buried in this cemetery, all from Co. Monoghan. Any connections out there?
