Trying to find info on my husband's dad. He never saw him or even knew his name until he was 16yrs old. Robert Archie Finley was born Jun 27 1916 in Tallahassee, FL and died in MO Jun 29 1997. Anyone with info on him please respond. We know he was married previous to my mother-in-law and that he had maybe 2 children with his first wife. Would like to know what dad was like, etc, and where siblings might be. My husband's name is Charles Edward Finley, b. 12-15-46 in New Orleans, LA (mother Margaret Fowler). Robert A & Margaret married in Birmingham, AL in ~late 1945-early 1946. We understand he was in an assisted-living home at his death and that he was paying for this without Medicaid or other benefits.
