Mary Jane Finley, 91, born May 4, 1922 to Ralph Tice and Lora Wiesman in Nobelsville, Indiana. She passed away July 2, 2013. She moved to California when she was nine years old and graduated from Excelsior High school in Norwalk where she met Herbert R. Finley. They married June 14, 1941. After WWII Herb and Mary Jane owned Gem Electric in Artesia for about 30 years and also raised their family of 2 boys in Artesia. They moved to Yucca Valley, CA for their retirement years and enjoyed playing golf and socializing with many friends. They moved to La Quinta, CA. in the summer of 1999 to be closer to famly, Mary Jane was involved with heart health through "the Hearts of Yucca Valley" for many years. As a young lady, she played her accordion on many stages and was also an accomplished organist. She is preceded in death by her husband Herb and is survived by her two sons and their wives, Gary Lee(Gaille) and David Lee(Teri) and her five grandchildren; Wade, paul, Lora, Douglas and Miles and her one great grandson, Graham. Her love and caring ways will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She is now at rest with the Lord. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 11:30 am at riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd Riverside, CA 92518.
