I am researching the family of George Field, b. abt. 1829 in NY, m. Amelia C. Freeman, b.abt. 1832 in CT. They had the following children: Henry S. Field, b. abt. 1857 in PA; Carrie, b. abt.1862 in PA; Grace, b. abt. 1865 in PA; Minnie, b. abt. 1869 in PA; Lynn, b. abt. 1871 in PA; and Nellie, b. abt. 1873 in PA. Amelia's parents were Sally M. Smith, b. abt. 1811 in CT, and UNKNOWN Freeman. Sally's parents were John Rossiter Smith, b. 1782 in England, and Delight UNKNOWN, b. 1782, also in England. Sally married Alba Burnham, of PA, after Mr. Freeman's death.
