Looking for relatives that are descendents of John Fyalka and Mary Cherup. Their children are Andrew, John, Ann, Michael, Mary, Betty, Agnes (Gable), Irene (Gable), Stephen.
Their last name was changed from Fyalka to Fialko when they arrived to the U.S. from Czechoslavakia.

Shari,
I don't know where Slovakland is....but if I were to guess it would be like Czechoslovakia or in that region. They came from Czechoslavakia and setteled in PA in the NorthEast part of the state, mainly the Scranton area. Stephen was born in 1931. If you see a connection or have more questions...my email is CATHYANNR@HOTMAIL.COM

My last name is green but before coming to america it was made into green, cause my great-gradfather was green in this country, like fresh off the boat. he had a brother that moved to guatemala who kept the name I think.

In fact my grand father came to Guatemala I'm not sure about year bt it must be before WW 2nd and stayed here until his death. Maybe by end of 20´s because my father was borned in 1934. Now we are a single Fialko family here. Maybe now I'm starting to reaize how my grand father came to Guatemala.
Greetings Fialkos!!!
