looking for parents of david fewell born 1794n.c. lived in york countys.c. from 1800 to 1848 maried to rachel tolbert about 1823 went to georgia then ala. in 1850's died around 1860 in cherokee county,ala.had children mary,abigal and male and female names unknown and son reason elisha fewell.family moved to walker county,ala after his death.believe parents might have been benjimin or william or edmund who were living in york in 1810. david was in s.c. militia in war of 1812.

david died in walker county alabama his son reason married my gggrandmother millie jane cole and the whole family moved to lee county mississippi from there i am still looking and also need help i do know that reason and millie died in lee miss.

where did you get the info that david fewell died in walker county,ala?he is listed in cherokee county,ala. in the 1860 census.the rest of the family are listed in the ala. state census in 1866 but david is not with them.elisha's first name came from rachel tolbert fewell's uncle rezin tolbert who owned a store in york county,s.c. and died in 1843. i have a copy of his will.elisha fewell is listed in 1919 texas deaths as dying in cottle county,texas. my father said that elisha was an itenerant tinker who traveled around the country in a horse and wagon reparing or building things for people.he met him a an early age when he visited family members in nyota,blount county,ala.james thomas fewell elisha's oldest son left tupelo,ms. around 1910 and moved to okla.i have lists of family from ronda fewell of tulsa.rachel fewell was living with a family named hendrix in 1870 at democrat,ala. near jasper.the census has her last name as pool.henry alexander fewell was illigetament.his birth father was probably henry alexander davidson who was born in york county,s.c. in 1827 and was killed in the civil war in 1864.his family moved to talapoosa county,ala at rockport.jimmy fewell

jimmy i think i made a mistake on david passing it was another fewell in the census fewell is spelled fuell in 1900 you will find millie and reason (elisha) fuell in lee mississippi.his wife millie had two kids out of wedlock in alabama. in nyota alabama blount county she was my gggrandmother where them kids stayed when she left with him on his trips to miss. i am one of them decendents and i still live in noyta alabama. what i would like to no is where they are all buried. millie and reason that is.i would very much like to talk to youif you would like you can email me at cflatdog@aol.com. thanks corace cole
