Its possible we could be related, but I haven't quite made all the ties yet. I have a Caroline Fessler who was born in 1863 in Minnesota and died 1934. She married Joseph Scharbach in Mt. Angel, Oregon. Her fathers name was Meinrad and we figure that he was born around 1840. He was born in Einsiedeln, Switzerland. We have a Stephen Fessler born about 1850 who married Mary Steiner. We have Katherine B Fessler born in 1872 who married a Charles Schmidt. We have a Margaret Fessler born aroun 1854 who married a Peter Scharbach in 1875. Margaret Fessler had a brother named Frank Fessler born around 1858 in Minnesota. Around 1874 the Meinrad Fessler, Stephen Fessler, and Joseph Fessler families came to Oregon. I haven't tied which father belongs to which one of those mentioned above yet, except we know for sure that Meinarad was Carolines father. Does any of this connect with you?
