Hi Alfredo, thanks for your reply! It's been a long time since anyone has written to me about this branch of my family ... I've been doing this for nearly 15 years! I don't know much about my Ferriolo ancestors. However, a few years ago, a man who had lived in St. Sofia d'Epiro sent me some information he'd gotten from local records. According to those records, my great grandmother was Cassandra Ferriolo (born 4 May 1853) to parents Biaggio Maria Ferriolo (born 1815, a blacksmith) and Anna Maria Baffa (1814-1857). Biaggio was the son of Gennaro Ferriolo (1776-1824) and Cassandra Cardamone. Maybe Gennaro is related to your great-great grandfather Juan (in Italian, Giovanni)? Let me know if any of this sounds familiar. So nice to hear from you! Grace McNamara

Maria Ferriola/Antonio Santoli Marriage

The State of New York sent me the wrong record when I requested one for a family member. I have a certified copy of the marriage record of Maria Ferriola, born abt 1868, in Italy and Antonio Santoli, born abt 1873, in Italy. They were married in New York City on 28 Apr 1895. I would be pleased to forward this record to a descendant.
