Hi,
In a Houston TX thrift store I found a DAR Good Citizen medal inscribed to June Ferrier. DAR told me that the design has not changed over the years and that the chapter chooses the recipient and there is no central record to help identify the person. The recipient is usually a high school student.

The medal cost me $1 and postage to you if you would like to have it for someone in your tree.

Usually I try to repatriate old photos but found this instead!!
