Miles Ferrick, Miner, is Dead at His Home

Miles Ferrick, 47 years old and a native of Ireland, died yesterday morning at 8 o'clock at his residence near the Five Mile house, having been in ill-health for several months. Ferrick had been running a little road house for some months past, but had been a miner for the greater part of the 25 hears he resided in Butte. He had a wide circle of friends. He was a widower, his wife having died 19 years ago. Surviving him are two sons, Michael, who is in the regular army and stationed in the Phillippines, and Peter, who resides in Butte. A sister is Mrs. Mary Dougherty, also of Butte. A brother, John, is in Ireland. The body will be removed to the residence of a brother-in-law, Patrick Hoolahan, 114 North Wyoming street, where the funeral will be held at 9:15 Tuesday morning, the body being taken to St. Mary's church, where a mass of requiem will be celebrated.

Heirs Want to Know About Ferrick Estate
Patrick and Michael Ferrick, heirs of the estate of Myles Ferrick, have petitioned the district court to have John Ferns, administrator, cited into court to show cause why he has not closed up the administration and distributed the estate, which has been in court for more than two years. They say the estate is worth less than $1,500 and under the law should have been distributed to the heirs long ago.
