Hi...I hope you receive this since I noticed your post was from 2008.

My name is Susan and my great granparents were Joseph and Mary Ferrara. I am the daughter of Allene Ferrara/Hoffmann/Liotta, daughter of Alexander and Marie Santise/Ferrara. My grandfather, Alexander (the only one born in NJ) had 2 sisters, Domenica (Minnie), Anna, and 1 brother named Joseph. My Aunt Minnie's first husband was Nat and they had 2 daughters, Geraldine and Maria. From what I have heard, Nat was my grandfather's best friend. Nat died young and Minnie's second husband was Tony Carbone (no children). Anna married Casper (not sure of last name) and had children Joey, Willie, and Rosie. I don't know too much about Joseph. I know Joseph had a couple of kids (I think one of them was named Freddy). I also know that due to circumstances, Joseph's family changed their name from Ferrara to Ferraro. I have been trying so hard to find out what happened to Joseph but it seems to be a family secret that died with them.

I just left my mother a message to find out more information regarding Joseph's family, and Casper and Nat's last name. I will post the information as soon as I hear from her.

All I can say is that we are DEFINITELY related! I am so excited to find that there is someone from Joseph's family interested in finding out about the family.
