NEW CASTLE, PA. – Ronald Ferraro, 77, of Hazelcroft Avenue, passed away the morning of Oct. 2, 2013, at Jameson Hospital.
He was born May 9, 1936, in New Castle, and was the son of the late Patsy and Rachel Argiro Ferraro.
He is survived by his loving wife, the former Rosalie DiLullo, whom he married Sept. 14, 1957.
Mr. Ferraro retired from Lindy Paving after 38 years, where he worked as an operator.
He was a member of Local Operators Union No. 66 and a member of St. Vitus Church.
Ronald enjoyed going to the casinos and his daily coffee outings with friends.
He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather whose greatest joy was the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Ronald Ferraro and wife Nancy of Poland, Ohio and Renee Ferraro of Columbus, OH; one sister, Inez Tutino of New Castle; and two grandchildren, Bradley and Amber.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Ferraro and Lindy Ferraro.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 3000 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Vitus Church, New Castle, PA.
Interment will be at Parkside Cemetery, New Castle.
