MARIETTA: Carl Daniel 'Dan' Fell, 61, of Marietta, Ohio and formerly of Zanesville, died March 22, 2014 at his home following a battle with cancer.

Dan was born May 24, 1952 to the late Carl C. and Frances V. Fell in Zanesville, Ohio.

He served in the U.S. Army and was honored with medals for his service in Vietnam and a Bronze Service Star.
He worked in road construction as a truck driver for many years.

He is survived by wife, Marea Fell of the home; daughter, Martha Early; six grandchildren, including Kimberly Fell whom he raised; numerous family and special friend and caregiver, Dennis Guile.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Mickey Dean Fell and a sister, Cathy Bargar.
A memorial service will be Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle Street,.Zanesville, Ohio
Rev. Tom Locke will officiate.

Cremation has been chosen per Mr. Fell's wishes.
