I am researching the Fell family of Stark County, Illinois, U.S.A. and the Falkland Islands. .

The patriarchs James Fell (c.1801-1847) and his wife Isabella Kyle (1805-1891) lived in Roxburghshire, Scotland. After he died there his widow and their younger children came to the United States in 1852 and settled in Elmira, Stark County, Illinois. Many of their descendants remain in the area.

The eldest son, William Fell (c1830-1906), married Ann Fraser and remained in Scotland until 1854 or 1860, and then they and children immigrated the Falkland Islands. I am attempting to contact living descendants in the Falklands or elsewhere.
