John V. "Streamy" Felice, 95, of Greensburg, PA. died Saturday, April 21, 2012, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg.
He was born in Greensburg, Sept. 25, 1916.

He graduated from Greensburg High School and was also a certified electrician.

He worked for 49 years as a machinist at the former Walworth Co. in South Greensburg.

He also served as an officer and grievance man for the United Steelworkers Union of America while working at Walworth.

He worked an additional 21 years as a tipstaff at the Westmoreland County Court House for the Hon. Judge Charles H. Loughran

He was a former Greensburg City councilman, former chairman of the Greensburg Democratic Party, past president and founder of the Greater Greensburg Senior Citizen Center, former member of the board of directors of the Westmoreland County Area Agency on Aging, former president and founding member of the Hilltop Social Club, and was an usher and member for 72 years at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church

John was an avid bowler and golfer and mastered flying airplanes as a young man.

Prior to his employment at Walworth, John was a stickman at a casino in Steubenville, Ohio, with Dino Crocetti, who was better known as actor-singer Dean Martin.

John loved watching sports and was always eager to talk politics
In warmer months you could always find him and his family gathered on his front porch in Hilltop.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Caterina (Testa) Felice, and his father, Frank Felice; a brother, Michael N. "Sau" Felice; a sister-in-law, Theresa (Spino) Felice; and a son, James T. Felice.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Elizabeth (Hricik) Felice; sons, John M. Felice and wife, Nancy (Yandora), of Greensburg, Thomas C. Felice and wife, Carolyn (Chabino), of Harrisburg, and Michael A. Felice, of Greensburg; daughter-in-law, Donna Wetzel, of Greensburg; grandchildren, Melissa Peddicord and husband, Chas, of Greensburg, Tracy Felice and boyfriend, Sean Blair, of Greensburg, Alison Felice, of Blairsville, and Lindsay Felice, of Harrisburg; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Amber and Mia Peddicord, of Greensburg; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Thomas (Geraldine) Hricik.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg.
Prayers at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg
Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
