Very happy to meet you! I have a pretty good sized file on the Messbargers and I am excited to find some more relatives who are interested in our family history! By the way, my Dad knew the Funks from Columbus, OH. Which of Landolin Messbarger's children is your direct ancestor? I ask this because I have so many off-shoot files for the Messbargers that I cannot recall which has Funks!

I have just completed the Schneider family file. Anastasia Messbarger, daughter of Landolin & Genevieve (also known as Geneva) was married to John Schneider, son of Anton & Elisabeth Hertz Schneider of Hocking Twp. It took me years to find my living cousins and I've met quite a few now.
