Margaret Featherly was born on April 30, 1759, married Nicholas Stansell in 1778. Her parents were Johannis Featherly Elizabeth Anna Margaerethe. Margaret died in Wayne County, New York in 1814. Margaret had a brother named John Featherly who married Mary Katrine Claus. John was born in Canajoharie, Montogomery County, New York in 1760. He died in Rose, New York, age 80 years. John and Mary had six children. Does anyone know the orgins of the Featherly family in America? Any information about the early Featherly famiily would be greatly appreciated.
