I have been researching this line of Fay's from Germany for quite some time now. I have seen that there are some errors to people,places, and dates. If you are a direct line to John and Barbara Fay and their descendants please contact me. John and Barbara were from Germany and came to Illinois. They are the parents of Michael Fay, who in turn married 3 different times; 1)Jinney Ann Youngblood, 2)Martha Burton, 3)Mary Bradley Greenawalt. Michael and Jinney Ann had 2 daughters; Sarah Francis and Martha Jane. Michael and Martha had 2 sons; Andrew Jackson and Jacob Henry. No known children from Michael and Mary. Jacob Fay is my gg-grandfather. He married Mary Reynolds; had 5 children; Herman (my g-grandfather), Lena, Levi, Louis, and an infant baby that died. I have quite of alot of info, and I'm waiting for records from the State Of Illinois. This family lived in the Sangamon County area for most of all their lives. A few had moved away, one to Kansas, one to Idaho....so if anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me. I will TRY to help with any questions you may have. What caught my eye was that in Ancestry.com there are people that have in their family trees, some of my ancestors, and some of the info they have is not correct. I would love to compare any notes that anyone has.
