I'm trying to find out more about the Faxon/Preston group.


My family's records mention the following:
Dorothy Preston (b. 1898, m. Robert Boyd)
Mildred O. Preston (b. 1902, assumed sister of Dorothy)
Aunt Clara Faxon (possible died 1937)
I also know that Etta is a family name.

Online sources mention that there was a Clara M. Faxon (b. 1857) and Susie Etta Faxon (b. 1861) that were sisters, and Susie married Frederick Preston (b. 1859).

I would make the following guesses:

Dorothy and Mildred are the daughters of Frederick Preston and S. Etta Faxon. I am unsure of this, but it seems like a good theory.

Dorothy Preston was my mother's mother's mother.

Any ideas?
