Trying to find the Faxon link to our family. A great uncle's middle name is FAXON and apparently he was named after relatives. Theodore Dwight Hall married a Marcia or Mary___unknown last name. Could be White??? They lived in lockport, NY. in 1840s-1850s, left for Dakota Territory for a few years and return to lockport. They were in the insurance business.

I read parts of the Faxon Family history and notice that A Sarah (whipple) Dudley married a Samuel Faxon (1771-Sept 3, 1827 in Lockport, NY. We are also related to the Whipples.

Does any of sound sound familiar to anyone?????
