My Grand Father was Thomas Farrell, born in NYC on 29 Feb 1854. He died in 1922 and is buried at Calvary in Queens. His wife (my Grand Mother) was Catherine Scott - born in Clonmel, Ireland in 1858. I know that he was wealthy but too much else. I do know that I found him in the 1870 census at a shelter at 318 Delancy St. I hope that this might help.
