Geralyn, I'm looking for North Jersey Farrell's. Specifically Newton area. Two brothers Timothy and Thomas. They came by boat from Ireland, Co. Longford in early 1850 to port of New York. Timothy & his wife Catherine, then settled in Newton, NJ by September census of 1850. Their first son, Michael was born in Newton hospital in December 1850. They had a daughter, Rosanna in June of 1852(my 2Great Grand) and another son John born in 1854 timeframe. It is hard to establish his exact date because the records were unretrievable.I've been trying to find further information on John and if he had a family. I don't believe Michael ever married based on the census information that I have found. Just wondering if you know anything about this Farrell family. I did trace Thomas's line and that line ended in 1931.
