Classification: Query
Looking for parents & siblings of James R. Farmer b. May, 1832 Ky., maybe in the Bullitt County area. He married 5/5/1853 Bullitt Co.,Ky. to Nancy Foster, dau. of James & Nancy Foster. They lived in 1860 census in Bullitt Co.,Ky. with children James Thos. b. ca. 1854, Jacob H. b. ca. 1855, Lydia E. b. ca. 1857 & John O. b. ca. 1860.
On 1870 census they lived in Shepherdsville, Bullitt Co.,Ky. with an additional daughter Virginia b. Jan. 1870. They on 1880 census, they were living in Louisville, Jefferson Co.,Ky. w/ only 3 children James, John & Virginia R. On 1900 census, they were living in Maplesville village in Chilton Co.,Ala. with their daughter Virginia Crandall, wife of Wm. & by 1910 census were back in Jefferson Co.,Ky. at Fairmount on Bardstown Rd. Can't find James R. & Nancy Farmer on the 1920 census, so assuming they were deceased & I also can't find them on Findagrave either.
Their sons James Thos. died in 1914 in Louisville & was buried at Cave Hill Cem. & he married a Annie B. Abbott & Jacob H. died in 1928 in Louisville & was also buried at Cave Hill Cem. & he married a Emma Brown & had a daughter Daisy Farmer b. 1879 who married a John Moremen about 1898 & had a dau. Virginia Moremen b. 1899.
I haven't been able to find out who Lydia E. Farmer or her brother John O. Farmer married & when & where they died.
Hoping to hear from someone who knows about this family.
Thanks for any help or clues
