I'm not related to the Faries family but I know quite a bit about them. I parsonally knew Julius in East St. Louis, and i knew his daughter Ruby Call, wife of Arthur Call and all their kids. I grew up in East St. Louis and went ot church with the Call family. My folks knew the Faries family and the Call family from Broughton, Illinos and because I spent much of my life in and around Broughton and Walpole, Illinois I knew a lot of people around there. I knew the Richarson family in Broughton and Julius wife was a Richardson. One of the Richardson girls, born around 1900 was Minnie. Minnie married Scrubb Gaines and their son Sam is a well known figure around McLeansboro, IL. McLeansboro is the county seat of hamilton County. I think Roscoe's wife was a Grable from Walpole. My mom was from Walpole and Dad was from Broughton. I think Dad and Roscoe were about the same age. since you note was over ten years ago you may not get this note from me.
