Barbara, I suspect your Jart Fann, son of John Fann, descends from the John Fann who died in 1797 in Orange Co, NC. I have ordered the entire estate file on him and his widow Elizabeth who died about 1838 in Orange Co. I will put the information in my book that I hope to have printed before long.
