If you are interested in Dan Fagg information, I can help. Daniel Fagg was my grandmother's uncle. I have a picture of his grave in Austin, Texas, his obituary, and a copy of his funeral record. The Fagg boys were all met with tragedy in the end. One electrocuted, Dan killed himself, and one died of tuberculosis he contracted working at his brother-in-laws funeral home embalming a body. parents of Charles were H. Fagg and Brazila Wescott
Parents of Minnie were William Cole and Lusetta Buchanan
Minnie was listed as a Widow in the 1910 census.
she had moved from Iowa to South Dakota to Stonesville North Carolina Where she died in 1938
Their Children were Orwin b.May 6 1883 and Charles L. J. Fagg b.Feb 11 1888 both born Marshalltown IA
Please help with this family.
I need a possible death date and location, and or obit for Minnie

A cousin Judy Pierette Bartlett b.1940 Jamaica, married Mervyn Norman Fagg b.1934 in England.He was the son of Vivian Richard Redshaw Fagg & Marjorie.They went back to Australia, where they had a daughter.
The daughter firstly married a Pryor, had 1 daughter, and then married a Donlen and had 1 son & 1 daughter. The Father of the Donlen husband was Harold Donlen b.1922 Mareeba Qld.

I am looking for an Ann Fagge (b about 1845 in Barham, Kent, England) and married Thomas William Southen in 1865 and had several kids, on being George who married Emma Oliver. Her parents are John and Esther Fagg. Yes, she was born in Barham, Kent. Her father John Fagg was born about 1814 in Bishopsbourne, Kent.

I'm actually researching the Cornwell family. I recently found an article about the Cornwell family published in a TN newspaper March 1 1950. In this paper it says,

Collet Cornwell had one son that we know about, his name being Charlie Cornwell. He married his first cousin, Millie Cornwell, daughter of Francis. Charlie Cornwell was born about 1775. Millie was born in 1784 and died October 11, 1877.
The children of Charlie and Millie Cornwell were: Mary F. Cornwell, born November 11, 1802, died November 19, 1879; Artemisia Cornwell, married Elam Russell; Delia Cornwell, married King Robinson; Betsy Cornwell, married Madison Smith; Coleman Cornwell, married a Fagg; Francis Cornwell, married a Hanes and later a Potter; and Jesse Cornwell, married a Draper.

Later in the article it says:

Next in the list of the children of Charlie and Millie Cornwell was Coleman Cornwell, named for his great-grandfather. He married a Fagg and we have an incomplete record of their offspring, two children having been born to them, and perhaps others. One of these was a daughter, who married a McKinney. One thing is recalled about this man, Coleman Cornwell, and that is that he killed a man near Red Boiling Springs with his bare fist in 1833.

I don't know if this will help or not. I would love to see anything that you have on this Cornwell family.

Mary Blondena Mallory b. 1887 Missouri, d. 1975 Stockton, Rooks, Kansas. This is my grandfather's sister. I have her obituary from the Plainville (Kansas) Times that includes the names of her children: Lewis Stephen Fagg, Basil Fagg, Anna Mae Jarrett, and Thelma White.
I cannot locate her in any US census. I am seeking information about her husband's name, and location of children and grandchildren.

Fagg/Mabe connection

Can someone help me figure this out? Henderson Samuel Fagg or Samuel M. Fagg is my great grandfather of that I am certain. One of his children was my grandmother, Amy Susan Fagg, sister of Elsie, Effie, Daisy, Pencie (sp), William and Charley. I tracked him through the censuses from 1880 to 1920. What IS consistent, is that my great grandmother's name is Mary S. which I believe is Mary Susan. After this it starts getting very confusing. I believe that her maiden name was Mabe. I believe that she was born in 1876 give or take a year. I am not sure if she is listed as Mary Susan or Susan Mary, in the censuses, so I don't know who to pick out of the records as my actual relative.

Also, William Franklin Fagg who would be my great great grandfather also married a Mabe, and I believe her name was Mary ANN. Or DID he? This is where I am getting stuck. Again, I don't know which name to pick out of the censuses that is accurate. If anyone can help clear this up for me I would greatly appreciate it.

If he died recently, then his death certificate will also give his date of birth. When and where did he die. I have access to the 1837 register, and can check his death record, if you don't have this. This will at least give you a starting point to check for possible births. It may then be possible to check for baptisms.

Cannot find anyone who is a real match. The following are possiioities. The first date is a date of birth and the last is the date of death. If none of these appear to be possile, what was your grandmother's maiden name, and a rough idea of when your father, or his eldest sibling was born. |Any names or ages will help to establish a possible date of birth for your grandfather, because you can check his marriage, which will give his full christian names, if he had more than one.
