Re: Sarah Ezard b1879 Canada
I have been looking for information on my grandmother's parents. Her name was Hattie Ezard and she had a sister, Mabel. But, she had brothers named Harold, George, and Harry. For some reason, the family was split up, two of the boys adopted, and Grandma had to live with relatives. Her father's names was James.

Re: Sarah Ezard b1879 Canada
Sarah was the daughter of John Ezard & Hannah Grange who come from Yorkshire, England. I can trace Hannah's lineage back a few more generations. Happy to share further information and would be interested in Sarah's descendants.

Re: Sarah Ezard b1879 Canada
Shirley, I think that this is a distant relative of mine, daughter of John Ezard & Hannah Grange. I would be interested in more details of their children as I'm keen to build a database of all known descendants of my ancestors.

Re: Sarah Ezard b1879 Canada
Sarah and Howard had 11 children, Walter John Benjamin Baker was my grandfather. Walter married Jessie Irene Irish and they had 12 children. There were 7 boys and 5 girls (two daughters died shortly after birth) and my Mother Joyce June Baker is the oldest girl. Howard and Sarah were Canadian but my grandfather Walter was born on Croiles Island and therefore a US citizen. I do not have all the names can provide them at a later time through email.

Re: Sarah Ezard b1879 Canada
Hi Cynthia, My name is Cynthia Sherwood-McKinney and my grandmother was Mabel Jane Baker-Sherwood. I have a fair bit of information on the Ezard line and a little bit on James Howard Baker. I would love to share and maybe swap stories. I remember your grandmother from when we lived in Massena and she visited. I don't know anything about the family being split up. I do know that my grandmother was very close to her brother Clarence and sister Winnie when we lived in New York. There were lots of family get-togethers and card games. Anyway, I would love to connect with you. Cindy

Re: Sarah Ezard b1879 Canada
Hi Cindy, My mother remembers Mabel. Yes, I would love to know what you have on the Ezards. I believe that James Howard's parents were Jacob and Eliza Cramer Baker from Canada. I also know that Sarah Ezard died in 1931 from shock. Sorry so long to reply.

I would love to see any pictures of Bakers! Also, I have discovered that Sarah Jane Ezard was the granddaughter of John and Hannah. Sarah's obit listed her parents as James and Harriet Ezard.
