David Eyster here. My old computer recently died and I lost my electronic address book that had email addresses of folks I had been communicating with regarding the extended Oyster/Eyster family tree. If you have been waiting to hear from me, I apologize. Drop me a line and let's get things going again. For other folks working on or related to an Eyster, I have a rather extensive database through which I am attempting to track all descendants (and their spouses) of John Jacob Aister (Oyster), the original Oyster/Eyster ancestor in America. I would love to hear from anyone out there who is interested in and/or connected to the Eyster/Oyster/Eister family tree.

eyster@rcsis.comP.S. Thank goodness for backups. When the computer went down, my heart dropped into my stomach, fearing I had lost my Oyster/Eyster database (16,000+ individuals). However, I found a backup that had been created two days prior and no new entries had been made in the intervening 48 hours. Yahoo!
