Have you come across a Mary Eycleshymer in your research? She was born in 1830; died in 1905. Married to Robert Hunter and lived in Rensselaer County, New York (near Albany.) I'm interested in finding her parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. (as well as Robert's parents, etc.) It's not a common name! Any help or leads will be appreciated! Thanks, Mary

I ran across an obituary for J.R. Eychlesimer, born in New York. The spelling is slightly different, but it may be a misprint because of the unusual name. His age would put him born around the same time as Mary - could be a brother.

EYCHLESIMER- In this city, July 11, 1904, J.R. Eychlesimer, a native of New York, aged 72 years, 4 months and 29 days.
Friends and acquaintances qre respectfully invited to attend the funeral tommorrow at 4 pm from the Clark and Booth parlors. The remains will be taken to Oakland for cremation.
