Ewins family in Pinvin, were the licencees, of the now demolished, 'New Inn' public house. They also kept a small holding, to 'market garden'. 'Esther
Ewins', married into the ' Checkets' family,(butchers, in Kidderminster), in 1848.She was not the first
Ewins to marry into the Checkets family.(more to follow on that)
