I am actually working on two sides of my family from Smith B. Ewer up through Henry Ewer in England. Henry's son (Thomas 1) married Sarah Learned and they five children. I believe he was married before Sarah as well. They traveled together to the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1635 with two of the children - leaving the other five behind with Henry (I believe). Three years after they arrived, Thomas 1 died. About a year later, Sarah remarried to Thomas Lothrop (son of famous Rev John Lothrop). They had six children. One of these children was Hannah Lothrop (half sister to Thomas Ewer's children). What is really interesting is that Thomas Ewer 2 married Hannah Lothrop - half brother and half sister getting married. Everything I pick up points to this. Several people say the Lothrop was Linnel, but the best I can see from studying Rev. John Lothrop is that his son married the widow of Thomas Ewer 1.
