You may want to check out the Thomas and Mary Ewer who lived in Lee, Massachusetts in the late 1700's. There is a death record for Lydia Ewer who died in Lee on Aug. 24, 1796, age 74. Children of Thomas and Mary Ewer as given in the records of the Congregational Church in Lee were Thomas, Ebenezer, Ansel, Lydia, Seth, Elisha, Asa, and Hannah. (These records can be found in Vital Records of Lee MA 1777-1801 from the Records of the Town Congregational Church and Inscriptions in the Early Burial Grounds, 1899). These names suggest that this Thomas Ewer in Lee was the son of Thomas Ewer 5 and Lydia Harlow. There are quite a few land records involving Thomas Ewer in the Berkshire Co. deeds.
