No need for early ancestor DNA. We just need to test people that are known Eveland descendants. If/when we match, at that point its pretty simple to find the shared chromosomes and know "thats the Eveland DNA". It's just that its better to be able to triangulate with 3 or more testers than just 2...with two, there is always the chance that its just coincidence that you share a segment of DNA AND happen to both have "Eveland" (or a spelling variant) in your tree. With 3 or more testers, that eliminates the possibilty that its just a coincidence.
