Out of curiosity,when I saw the John C. Evans and Susannah Bird,I was curious to see if John might have been a Trader and Interpreter in 1756 in the Catawba Nation and married a Cheraw Indian and they had a son named John Evans also?Probably 27 April 1748.
I've been trying to find a John Evans that was supposed to be Indian .
