FORT MYERS, FL. - Milan “Mickey” Evanoff, 87, formerly of Campbell, Ohio died Tuesday, July 16, 2015, at his home.
Milan was born on April 6, 1928, to Naume and Mary Evanoff.

After graduation from Campbell Memorial High School, Mickey enlisted in the U.S. Army.

He served with the 8th Infantry Division during World War II in occupied Japan.

Later Mickey joined the Campbell Police Department, where he served for 25 years as assistant to chief of police, retiring in 1982.
After retirement, Mickey and his wife moved to Madison, enjoying fishing and boating on Lake Erie, traveling, and especially spending time with his two grandsons.
They moved to Fort Myers 19 years ago.

. Mickey is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia; beloved daughters, Milana (Dennis) Timko of Hoover, Ala. and Michelle (the late Jerry) Leone of Plantation, Fla.; and his treasured grandsons, Bradley and Douglas Timko of Birmingham, Alabama.

He also leaves two sisters, Mary Fredericks of Campbell and Pauline Onestak of West Middlesex, Pa.; and sisters-in-law Shirley Smith of Naples, Fla., and Joanne White of Pearland, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Gozur of Campbell.

Services will be held Monday, July 20, at the Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home, Fort Myers.
The Evanoff family would like to thank Hope Hospice for their loving care.
