Does anyone have any links to Hugh Eva, lead miner, who was born about 1805 and moved to Bere Alston in Devon. He had a number of children including Amelia who was my gggrandmother. I would like to take this family back further if possible.
Look forward to hearing from anyone out there who might have any further information
Jackie

if you contact me on my email with details as you have, I might well be able to help you further as I have a fair bit on the family, though I am only connected by name as far as I am aware.

Hi Jennifer, nice to hear from you. Yes I think that Richard, 1715, is the stumbling block for all of us at the moment, unless anyone else knows differently of course:(
Could you as a matter of interest tell me who William married and when and where he died. My Amelia married John Phillips in 1854 and died in 1907 in Tavistock. They had 3 children and my paternal line comes down through their middle child John Henry Phillips
