There are three Etgen families that sprout out of seneca county, Ohio 1) John and Catherine 2) Frantz and Theresa Busbee 3) Nicholas and Jane Jungers. Could Frantz, John and Nicholas be brothers They all arrived in the 1830's frantz the first nicholas was the second and john was the third to arrive. In the 1840 Census there is an old women listed with nicolas and his family it is believed the her name was Margaret (Rosselette) Etgen and that she was Nicholas's mother can any one expand on this.
Nicholas also had descendants in Defiance County, ohio so research in Defiance can be tricky. In the history book for St. Bonniface Parish in New Riegel it states that nicholas etgen was from Toerniche, Lux. Belgium
any help would be greatly appreciated.
