I believe you will find that Gertrude Bowman Cropper married Daniel Jr, son of Daniel Esham. Daniel and Gertrude executed at least two deeds after Daniel Sr. had died. Both deeds are recorded in Accomack Co, VA. Daniel Jr. died in Feb 1718/9. By that time he was married to a woman named Jane, but he left several children, one of whom was called "Gartratrade" in the will abstract. She was surely named after his first wife Gertrude.
