I just came back from Aranda de Duero Spain.
An old timer who name is Thomaso D Escajeda who is 107 years old, who work in the wine cellars that interconnect below the streets of the town when he was 10 and 12 years old. he told me that the Escajeda's move to Aranda de Duero from Soria the family was small I ask him how small 27 and very adventurous some joined the spanish army travel to new land, I guess Mexico he agree but was not clear about. other's in family branch out and move Portugal and to Santa Cruz de Tenerife province, that where some of the Escajeda,s where able to aboard ship to come to the United States, Mr Thomaso metion that we were like gypsy looking for our place in the world always looking for way to start some kind business and adventure, trying to reach a goal in life. Mr Thomaso said that the Escajeda are leaders and but took a long time to fill their place in the world. He was very sad that his brother was lost in the war and never found out what ever happened to Dillo R Escajeda I record his story of his life and his family history.
