My grandfather Herman Erlanson was the youngest of 6 children. His siblings include Clas Oscar, Carl Victor, John August, Erland Reinhold and Ida. Except for Ida they all lived died in Texas, some in the Round Rock area, some in Waco some in Brady. If this is your ancestors, I have the tree back to the 1700's in Sweden. I would also like to exchange any old photos you might have. Contact me at graciemei@hotmail.com

Do you know the village/region of Sweden they may have come from? The approximate years of birth? Father's Name, etc. Let me know.

My great great grandmother was Mary Louise E(a)landson. She eloped with my great great grandfather, August Pehr Johnsson, from Sweden in 1864. They were known as the "runaway sweethearts". They had seven children. and settled for some time in the Wakefield, IL area, and later to Pocohontas/Pomeroy IA, where much of the family still lives.
