looking for ancestors of MATILDA ERATH born Feb 5, 1838 and died in 1886. Her husband was Sylvester Katzenstein. Both from Wurtenburg, Germany. They came to the U.S. in 1865. They had a daughter named Theresa Katzenstein born 10-3-1870 in Council Bluffs, IA. Any descendents out there who may be able to help me go farther back in Matilda Erath family line? My grandma says that Matilda's father, an Erath was founder of Erath County, Texas.

thanks

Mathilda Erath

I hope you remember my grandmother Eva Mae and I meeting you at your home 10+ years ago. We talked about Katzenstein family tree.

If you are still around...email me at ravenstar98@yahoo.com. I'm pretty sure your Hotmail address is out of use.
